It follows an $85 million renovation, relocation and expansion project. The new land-based chapter in this casino’s history is set to start next month, when the Queen Baton Rouge opens its doors to the public on August 24 at 9 p.m.

It opened in 1994 and passed through various owners before current operators Queen Casino (QC) purchased it from Caesars Entertainment in 2020. The business was previously a riverboat casino known as Hollywood Casino Baton Rouge, and before that, Belle Rouge.
